An awarenessprogramme has been conducted in Government Degree College-Kanigiri by geoloists Sri Snigdarani Mishra and Sri Puspita Tripathy from Geological Survey of India, Andhra Pradesh Unit, Southern Region. The geologists have been conducting "Reconnaissance Survey for Iron Ore in Pedda Alavalapadu Block and Juvvigunta Block" for the past six months to know more about Geological mapping of the same region. They visited Government Degree College-Kanigiri to carry out BHUVISAMBAD Activity as a part of creating awareness about the Activities conducted by Geological Survey of India. Ms.Mishra and Ms.Tripathy have shown videos and presented PPTs and interacted with Students. Principal Sri.D.Ramakrisha Reddy has introduced geoloists to the Students and gave concluding remarks by saying "It is important to learn something from everything and everything from something".
