FIELD TRIP TO UDAYAGIRI FORT AND BHAIRAVAKONA

Participating in field trips is a great way to enjoy a unique learning experience outside a classroom environment. Field trips are not only good fun, they allow students to absorb, interact and immerse themselves in a practical way. On a field trip, students are more likely to retain information. Being immersed in information and being involved in visual and practical experiences will help students remember, learn and understand subjects.For effective learning, GDC-Kanigiri has ventured a Field Trip to Bhairavakona in Prakasam District and Udayagiri in Nellore District. Take a look at the fun and learning.

         

 

GDC-Kanigiri at Gnana Bheri, Ongole

Government Degree College Students and Faculty members have attended Gnanabheri Program on  11th December 2018 at District Head Quarters, Ongole. There was an Interaction programme of Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri N. Chanrababu Naidu with 34,000 students from various institutions. Students were actively participated and presented their innovative ideas with designed prototype and exhibited various project models. The students of our college have visited various stalls installed in the Gnanabheri Stadium premises. Here are the some of the glimpses of Gnanabheri Program at Ongole.

International Human Rights Day Celebrations

The Department of Political Science of GDC-Kanigiri has conducted a program on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. While commemorating the 70th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day, the Principal and staff of the college addressed the students and spoke on the need to protect human rights. ABOUT GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE - KANIGIRI

       Government Degree College, Kanigiri was established in the year 1983, vide Proc.Rc No 221/KI-2/83 of Direction of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh and it is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. It is located on the highway to Pamur. 

The College has a beautiful campus in 16 acres of land with 20 class rooms in 5 blocks, 5 acres play fields, running track and courts, Library with Reading Room. It is presently offering two UG Courses B.A and B.Com which has 60 Seats intake per course. Currently, the college is offering two UG courses namely B.A and B.Com which has 60 students intake respectively.
